Section Perspective
My center employs passive cooling techniques and sun shading through the atrium and perforated facade. The perforated facade allows air to pass through the building and circulate through the atrium, while casting shadows on the balconies. Balconies are placed on each floor, allowing everyone the opportunity to get fresh air throughout the day.
USC Community Center
The USC Community Center is intended to be a place of social justice education, meeting spaces, and fostering a connection with the community. Located next to Leimart Park, this building is placed in a cultural hub.
