VIRGINIA LEOPARD

In order to bring the historical People’s Park Complex up to Singapore’s green building standards, topography from the surrounding park is applied to the roof and lush public meeting areas are set into the apartment complex floors. Before, there were no public meeting spaces for the apartment residents and the roof was blanketed in hot concrete. After the design change, the building becomes much more sustainable, green, breathable, and inhabitable.
